Hotel Diego De Almagro Talca

Its a great hotel. Very formal. Professional. The staff does a great job with my broken Spanish and crude jesters to get understanding. The hotel a bit dated but its not bad. The bed sleeps great. The tub for the shower is very slippery, you must use the mat to be safe. The bar downstairs is good and so is breakfast. I would come back.

The hotel is ok, but only for short stays. There is no bottled water, no coffee and no tea machine in the room. Overall it looks like an old style hotel. Receptionists are kind, but the restaurant staff are not that welcoming, and the food itself is not good. Breakfast is buffet and it is decent. The swimming pool is old and dirty, sauna is locked, the gym consists of three machines only and maybe 2x3m room with an old mirror, no space for body weight exercises or stretching. Location is central in the old part of the town. Nice thing is the hotel has an underground parking for cars.

Reasonably good, but weak in details. Mediocre restaurant, although friendly. No pool, since very high temperature (covid excuses); parking no enough. No smart-tv. Air-conditioning works fine. Elevator closes doors hysterically. Shower very fine, tube too. All Personal was friendly.
