Hotel Diplomat

Great Hotel within a 10-15 minutes walk to the Beach Area. All the staff is really friendly and competent, the whole Hotel is very clean with a charming interior. Biggest plus is the rooftop pool with a great view, nice amenities like pastries and coffee, and cozy sunbeds in the sun and in the shade. Nice breakfast buffet and the Hotel restaurant Consul offers awesome food and drinks for a relaxed Dinner on the patio. Severely recommended!

Good place! Staff is very friendly, always try to do their best for you. Cleaning is also great! The only thing to work on is breakfast. Seven days in a row you have absolutely the same choice… sorry, not the same-boiled eggs are exchanged with scrambled eggs… Hand made bread is also not good, and coffee machine is worth to be cleaned inside more often (it reflects in the taste). So, if you arrange breakfast properly you’ll be the best!

Absolutely fantastic, the staff being number 1 , firstly Myer at reception we had many dealings with and she was so onto anything you asked for and informing and her English was perfect , the Hotel is lucky to have her at reception, also Neva ( who was new ) went out of her way to assist us , lovely . The room was everything you needed ( I only gave 4 stars for the room as I would have liked it a bit bigger ) but excellent value for what we paid , breakfast was great as was the location, we could walk to the old town in 20 minutes. We had a car and free parking at the hotel , but found it so hard to find parking in town , so on the 2nd day we walked along the beach front to the old town . Great food nearby with options . I would definitely stay at the Diplomat upon my return .
