Hotel Diplomat

The hotel is well-located, especially for those with work at the U.S. Embassy or nearby areas. While the property appears dated, the rooms are clean and quiet. However, the bathroom design lacks privacy due to a hard-to-open smoked glass door, and there was no running hot water—we had to request hot water buckets. Room service is excellent and responsive, though restaurant dining options are limited and need improvement. The staff is cooperative and helpful. Despite narrow passages and some design flaws in the rooms and washrooms (e.g., faulty flush button), the location and service make it a convenient option for short stays.

Location: They need to put some board at the left side lane entrance as well, easily getting missed if not familiar. Staff and Breakfast: Courteous staff and delicious food. Ambience and Facility: They are trying to do best with what they have but the establishment itself looks congested, confined, old and breakage or mismanagement can be seen at every nook and corner e.g. shower sprays in all direction making whole bathroom flooded, leaking taps etc. Needs improvement in terms of quality of fixtures.

Wifi in my room was extremely poor, needed to go to the lobby to download small files. Bathroom is in awful condition. No healthy or light food for breakfast and no ready to eat, all should be waited, and at 7.30 when they start to serve, they barely wake-up, so if you need smth quick - impossible- all should be ordered and cooked for you. No elevators. In general, the hotel is definitely not a 4-5 stars as all websites state
