Hotel Dolenjc

An extremely nice and welcoming place with quite some things to do for kids. The staff was very welcoming and unbelievably helpful with all our requests. The food in the restaurant was delicious and had a great view on the road which was downhill, so it added atmosphere rather then disturbance (as I originally expected). Beds were quite comfy despite being too soft for my taste, and rooms recently renovated. So I have only positive feedback about the place and will totally stop by next time as well.

Went here for a quick lunch on the way. The location is great. The waiters attitude was as if he is having a very bad day and the amount of cologne he was wearing was A LOT (we sat outside, mind you). We felt slightly rushed and the whole thing felt impersonal. Food tasted okay however I found some plastic pieces in my food. The waiter did vaguely apologise but nothing further was done about it. Not the best experience overall, the energy felt off and I will pick other place to visit over this one.

We stoped by to have a lunch from Zagreb airport. The waiter wasn’t really welcoming; just asked if we choose from paper on table dish - no menu. We order two portions of calamari, we recieved just one; really not fresh fried calamari. Small mixed salad was completely from can - tastless. Disappointed all the way.
