We liked the place, we stayed there while visiting the Christmas market. The rooms are very atmospheric, well equipped. The place where breakfast is served has windows from which you can see the sea, which is a great detail. Ample parking, a really comfortable stay. Even without a car, there must be good communication, because the hotel is near the tram terminus.
Had a lovely stay in August. Amazing location if you plan to stay close to the beach for the duration of your holiday. The room was clean and had all basic necessities; however, I subtracted a star from the review because there was no fridge, which is quite important to me when staying at a hotel as I might not eat out all the time. The reception team and staff were lovely and friendly. They allowed us to check-in earlier as the room was ready. I would definitely recommend Hevelianium to anyone looking for a short stay next to the beach, unless they needed a fridge during their stay.
Unfortunately a horrible kitchen and chef. Food had either no flavor whatsoever or was completely over salted/peppered. Staff is great,kind and excellent but the whole place is totally overrated. Do not recommend other than for a coffee or so, definitely not for eating!
