First of all, to SOME of the receptionists, politeness and a smile is free of charge! 😃 The room we were given which was on 2nd floor had no view but was clean overall and quiet. Pillows need to be changed though (clean pillow cases is not enough). Toilet seat could be cleaner as well. The heating was adjustable. Very close to the subway and train station, only some stations away from the city centre. Close to lots of places to eat, cinema and 24hr shops. Altogether, it was ok. We enjoyed our stay. Some improvements and it could be a 4 star hotel.

Dated rooms and interior. Could use a good cleaning l. Service is above average, actually very good and nice personals. Location seems not very secure, to many immigrants and weed smoking individuals at the door of the hotel just hanging out all night. No good restaurants nearby, only döner kebab.

Horrible Experience @ Domicil Hotel- This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have had. TDLR: Please request for invoice for your stay and check the details. We (my family) had done advance booking and payment for our stay. This morning at 8.30 am during check out the receptionist told me we had to pay additional 36€. Twice I asked him for what the additional charge was but he did not respond. Then I asked him if it was the city tax and he replied with 'Yes'. I asked him for the invoice and he gives me invoice for breakfast for two days but we never had breakfast at the hotel. When I informed him this, he was rude and insisted we did. When I pressed further, he said he will check with the staff. He then checked with the staff and also checked the Breakfast log sheet and realised that that indeed we had not had breakfast at the hotel. He finally reversed the charge but did not apologise for his error and oversight. He wasted precious half an hour for all his checks because of which we almost missed our return journey. From the receptionists rude demeanor and absolute lack of remorse it seems like this must be his MO. More over the hotel while in an excellent location is severely outdated in its interior and poorly serviced. All customers must be aware.
