A small family-style hotel with fewer rooms, ideal if you are looking for a quieter place in Opatija. The hotel has its own garden with a swimming pool and a beautiful panoramic seaview. The rooms are smaller, the upper floors with smaller windows, but very cosily furnished. There are carpets in the corridors, which eliminates noise from walking (very smart). The gym is simply equipped but also offers a sauna. The hotel has its own beach with a pleasant entrance to the sea (beach towels must be asked at the reception). For parking, it is possible to use the hotel grounds protected by a ramp (spaces are limited). Breakfast is relatively varied, served from 7:30 to 10:00, unfortunately at 8:30 the sausages and eggs were cold and the ham and cheese were no longer available. The hotel staff is very helpful and pleasant, it is important to highlight the extremely friendly and at the same time professional approach of the gentleman at the reception, his services were exceptionally great. If you are looking for quieter accommodation in the heart of Opatija. It is a 3 min. walk to the city center, but the noise from the nightlife in the city is not heard at all. Most rooms have a beautiful view of the sea, and all are air-conditioned. I definitely recommend visiting this hotel.

First of all we are always willing to pay for sunbeds and parasols, but it’s so rude to think we are stupid tourists. The guy came to us and told us we had to pay for the sunbeds, 24€ for two, ok no problem. He didn’t ask us if we want the parasol. So when we asked later for the parasol, we had two pay additional 7€, which we did. Just to find out later that it would have cost us 25€ for 2 sunbeds + parasol. When we asked him he said he asked us but he didn’t. That is the most ridiculous thing and very very rude. Hope he can sleep at night, knowing that he is ripping off people! They are just lucky that they have the location but even then, there were plenty of empty sunbeds. Wondering why…
