Hotel Dona Palace

My brother and I recently took our parents on a “bucket list” trip to Italy. We stayed at this beautiful hotel at the end of May. It was perfect. The rooms are large (by European standards), clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast in the morning is in a lovely space. The staff were friendly and so helpful. Stephanie, in particular, made our stay very special. I look forward to staying here again!

This was my first visit to Venice and I will most certainly return AND stay at Donà Palace. Customer service in the hotel is second to none from the moment we checked in until we departed. I traveled with a friend and we each had our own room. Both rooms were beautiful and extremely comfortable. The breakfast room and staff were such a pleasure. We were there for 5 nights and by the second morning they knew what our coffee order. A few evenings we enjoyed a cocktail in their cozy little bar. The bartenders were lots of fun and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. This boutique hotel is also centrally located for all attractions. We came for Carnival and having St. Marks within a two minute walk made it simple to get out and see all of the costumed people. Highly recommend staying here!

I've been to Venice several times for Carnevale and this is the best place I have stayed. The staff is wonderful and could not be more helpful. The rooms are lovely. The hotel is a short walk from Piazza San Marco and a beautiful quiet oasis from the crowds. Bonus is if you are taking the ferry from the airport - you can walk to the hotel in a few minute from the ferry stop without crossing bridges. Breakfast has a wide array of options and served in a gorgeous room. The bartenders are fabulous and the bar is beautiful. We adored our stay here.
