Hotel Donata

We stayed in Hotel Donata for one week. The room was clean and we had everything we needed. The breakfast was fine. The Hotel is really good located, next to the ski-lift. The lady at the reception desk was always helpful and nice with us. For the price we payed we couldn’t have nothing better :)

The food breakfast was great. Tasty and stuff. The bar is cheap aswell. But the rooms are really compressed, only thing that you can do there is Sleep, tv doesn't work, sauna doesn't work, besides that, the sleep is terible because the 3rd floor in the winter is really hot and the air is totaly too dry.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, decent facilities. A few hundred meters from the entrance to the lift and 100 meters from the trace itself (lower 5% of it). Ski rental inside the hotel with decent equipment. On the downside - no sauna or pool inside the hotel, location is far from perfect (need winter tires to get to hotel entrance, or go few last hundreds meters by foot). Everyone suggests New Gadauri, however its more windy out there. No elevator inside the hotel (meaning you have to carry your luggage not only uphill to hotel entrance, but also to your room floor), bell boy and ski rental guys are slow, need to spend too much time asking for assistance. Room wasn't serviced for 3 days, even though they commit to clean every 2 days. They were also unable to order a taxi because their driver was unavailable and they didnt want to take the effort to find a different one (which apparently was just outside of the hotel, and they knew his details). Our friend made reservation mistake, and booked a room for the wrong dates. They promised to help, in vain, and few hours later secured their last room to a different guest, which made us absolutely furious. Breakfast and kitchen are 2*.
