Hotel Dos Templarios

This is a must stay for any trip to Portugal. Amazing place. Room 425 is a dream come true. The views and privacy are incredible and everything about the hotel is inviting and perfect. At an hour drive from Lisbon this is the best idea for travel as we want to arrive at a destination with the best place and experience really cool neighborhood. Great lunch at the lobby bar when we arrived early. Check in was seamless. Upgrading to the better room is fabulous and my wife is very impressed. Wish we were staying many more nights! The short walk to the dining area neighborhood was fun and romantic. Ended the evening with a stroll through the square and park. This is fantastic way to start our trip. We will be back!

I was happilly surprised. Hats off to Ricardo and his teammate at the bar for their ability to mix great drinks and keep you entertained with a little conversation. The staff in general is amazing. The weather was a bit too hot to explore the city but we still were able to have a great time thanks to them. Will definitely go back.

Good points: Location is great, very central and it is very nice to see the old pine trees and hear the birds as you walk outside Parking was free when validated and very easy to access The pianist was incredible and made the evening very pleasant Pool and sauna are good The main areas are well maintained The low points: The bath looked dirty and old, as did the tile cracks by the shower. I asked reception for room service to clean the bath, they did but it still looked worn and not pleasant to shower in Breakfast was very mediocre (not many healthy choices) and the staff was not happy. They seemed rushed and annoyed. The breakfast room was hot and not pleasant to sit in The reception staff were friendly, but did not seem to care much The main hall smelled like chlorine Fitness room looked dark and depressing Charging €1 for coffee pods…? I think the price does not justify overcharge for what you get. It’s very mediocre service and rooms are outdated
