Ranked as a 4 star hotel everywhere and have pretty photos online, but the facilities were really old … and could use much better maintenance or a big renovation inside. And it was not much cheaper than the big dogs in the area. Our room was the love suite thats located at the corner but nothing about the room made sense. There were 2 fire doors that were “pre” renovation that has to be in place… i guess i understand but is still very odd. The onsen tub in my suite was very rundown and needed some serious cleaning … old stain in the sink and boy that onsen tub was grimy. Honestly if you cant clean it…. Just re-tile the tub please. Staff was very proactive and professional but i would not be staying here again

Very old and poorly maintained hotel. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself wasn’t very well maintained. Dust and old webs can be seen around the room. Toilet door cant be closed properly. Water stain is everywhere. There were still some hairs on the floor when we arrived in the room. The room wasn’t really sound proof. We can hear other people showering and theres always some loud noises outside the door. Photos on their website and booking sites are probably old photos and nicely edited. The building is old, the elevator and outdoor space is old and not being taken care of. Amenities are all for sell at the lobby. Location is okay - about 5 minute car ride away from the restaurants and sightseeing area.
