Hotel Du Parc

Beautiful Hotel, great location only 10min walk into Garda city centre with a path right along the lake. They have a pool and a whirlpool (We didn't use because it was too cold in March) and a beautiful terrace to eat breakfast on with view of the lake. Sadly as we came in the off-season, they renovated on our floor which we were not informed of beforehand, so it smelled a bit of paint every time we walked to the room. There is free parking on site, you need a code to open the gate, the drive into the parking lot is very steep and narrow and its hard to turn around at the entrance to the gate, so we had to always drive into the other gate first and turn around there, which was a bit of a hassle but not horribly aweful. All the staff was super nice to us. Breakfast was also delicious! Since we were there in March the room was very cold, it could have really used a heater. There was a heater in the bathroom at least. The fridge was not working properly, we asked at the front desk and they told us it's working, but it was really not cooling at all, so we could not store anything of what we had bought in there, gladly our room was cold anyways. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant once and the food was amazing, and as hotel guests you even get a small discount. I would stay again, since the location is great, the rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly.

Charming hotel, a bit old, in a perfect location on Lake Garda. The building has style, the outdoor area is spacious with restaurant, bar and Infiniti pool with a direct view of Lake Garda. The town of Garda is within walking distance, as are some bathing spots on the lake. The rooms are adequately furnished and very clean, the service is very friendly and helpful. However, it would be time to renovate here.

Great location, friendly staff, decent size room; however, in the room there are no USB plugs and very few plugs at all. The air conditioning is turned to a point that it's difficult to sleep as it's too warm. This was at maximum cool. The hot water also seems to be turned down so the best we could get was luke-warm and not pleasant to shower in. Hopefully they can renovate or update to make this the hotel it should be. Also...
