Really great hotel! The location can't be better, but the best thing about the hotel is the staff. Super service minded and nice ✨️

The best parts about this hotel are its grounds (beautiful pool area, restaurant, roof terrace and well-kept gardens) and its location right near the Bay of Silence. The rooms were not quite as nice and a bit outdated - although we did get a cheaper room, so maybe this would have been solved if we’d paid more (but then I’m not sure it would have been very good value for money). Our room in particular had a very old ceiling fan that was so comically loud that it couldn’t be used, which was a shame because they hadn’t turned the AC on yet when we visited in late May. It wasn’t unbearable, but the room was a bit stuffy and there was too much street noise to leave the windows open. From about 6am, we got the constant sound of garbage trucks backing up and dumping bottles, so the location of your room is something to consider if you’re a light sleeper.

This hotel is a waste of time !!!! And Money ! It’s definitely a two star hotel if that ! More like a hostel we paid about $500 a night so I expect five star quality! Room was so tiny , broken fan in summer took more than three days to try and make the front desk understand we were not making it up ! Aircon !! Well it’s not a real aircon it’s a side fans that sits in front of the heavy curtain. So that was useless. Bathroom mouldy unacceptable. 😡 Our door- we had to wedge a shoe in the side at night time as any vibration from others doors opening, it would make our door shake!! Breakfast buffet nothing like the photos on the website! It had no vibe it was like eating breakfast in a morgue !! You could just hear the engine of the fridge ! And took sooo long to get a coffee even when it wasn’t full ! It is absolutely ridiculous how they have so many rules on opening times regarding the gym , and outdoor swimming pool ! People are on holidays they want to swim when they want ! Especially when the evening are sooo hot and the sun goes down at 9pm . It would have been Nice to be able to swim till at least 9pm! Also use the gym first thing in the morning for example at 6am or 7am not have to wait ! This hotel is so old and antique it’s time to close down .
