Hotel Dumbrava

Just spent a night at Dumbrava Hotel and had to share! Even though it was a short stay, I was really impressed with this place. The hotel is obviously new - everything feels fresh and well-maintained. My room was spotless when I checked in and had a really nice design to it - not the boring generic hotel look you often get. Crashed on the bed later and wow - super comfortable! Slept like a rock. The air con worked perfectly too, kept the room at just the right temperature. The staff deserves a special mention. Everyone I dealt with was genuinely friendly and helpful - from check-in to check-out. No fake smiles here! Decided to eat dinner at their restaurant rather than going out, and it was definitely the right choice. The food was great - nice quality and tasty dishes. For just one night, this place really delivered. Honestly wish I could've stayed longer! If you're passing through and need a place to stay, Dumbrava is worth every penny.

GREAT SERVICE! This is a very unusual and unexpected place in Romania, which is not known for the quality of its service industry. But this hotel has the best service! The staff are super professional, always available, very friendly, polite and eager to help. Moreover, everyone seems to be genuinely happy in having you as a guest. This is how they treat their 1st time guests. First impressions count. But I saw how they treat their recurring clients, their regulars. With them, the hotel staff somehow becomes even more friendly and hospitable. They remember you from previous visits, they might even remember your breakfast preferences. Wow! Any time I will need a hotel in Bacău, Dumbrava will be my first option. The rooms, amenities and rest of the hotel are also good quality, but the hospitality of the staff and their service are the best thing here. Best anywhere in Romania.
