Hotel East 21 Tokyo

It was a beautiful hotel with a great lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. I was also impressed that there Bellboy refused to accept a tip because he told us it was against their cultural. The hotel had very easy access to shopping area with convenience stores, coffee places and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed staying here. We had a 3 bed room which all though not big it had plenty of room for our needs. The room had everything you could need ranging from pyjamas to razors, hair brush, toothbrush etc. It also was our first experience of a Japanese toilet which at first took my breath away but now I don’t know how I’m going to live without it. Breakfast was good with a selection of western and Japanese food. We were up early and out all day visiting the sights of Tokyo it was a 10 minute walk to Toyocho station which meant you could get anywhere with ease. After a few journeys it’s easy to work out where you need to go except maybe Tokyo station which is wast and easy to get lost.

Room was decent in size, but it is on the older side of things. The location is not good if you like to walk around and explore Tokyo’s lively streets. The issue i had with service is about the pool (beautiful pool)- you actually need to pay extra to use it. All and all, i think the cost / benefit was not the best.
