Hotel Eda Oba

Very good hotel in a great location. Good facilities for conferences and meetings. Great staff who go out of their way to attend to you and understand your needs. The room is good, comfortable and I stayed in a room with great views. The restaurant offered good varieties and food quality is high. Certainly, this is a good hotel.

This is a massive hotel, 10 floors high. Many rooms are in a state of abandoned disrepair. The alleyways go in no certain directions, giving it a feeling of being laid out by an amateur architect. The staff appear disinterested in performing their duties, and requests fall in deaf ears . The north facing rooms are poorly insulated against traffic noise, this problem is chronic in lower floors. Some occupied rooms are often in a pathetic state, the bathroom doors in many rooms don't close, and that's considered normal !! Seems like this hotel has seen better days, as seen in pictures in the hotel brochure. Stayed here, spending a 10 day compulsory quarantine.* though it's the third day today !!! Slowly getting used to it's ambience, though reluctantly.

Our airline dumped us here for a night, after flight cancellation. The staff were real rude. The rooms are disastrous. The pictures on the internet were taken in the 70s. No sense of security. I bolted out of the hotel by making a personal booking elsewhere . 2hrs after checking in
