We (family of four, two kids ages 6 and 9) stayed at the Hotel Edelweiss in Gerlos for 3 nights and had an amazing time. The staff is friendly and provides great service. We booked a family room with an extra bedroom for the kids - the room was huge and had plenty of room for the four of us. The room was also very very clean. The food at the hotel is delicious and the kids were allowed to chose an adult dish (one of the provided options) or a kids meal (nuggets, fish sticks or pasta bolognaise) at dinner. The breakfast was also great with lots of homemade options and perfectly cooked eggs. Our stay included free passes for the busses and gondolas and we used both for some great trips to the tops at Isskogl and Königsleiten - both have lots of fun activities for kids. The walsspielplatz (playground) was also fun, located a 15 min walk a long the river from the hotel. In the afternoons we used the hotel pool and saunas, which are very clean and inviting.
You felt welcome as soon as you entered the hotel, very friendly staff who really did everything to make us feel comfortable. We get a great room with a large balcony. There is a spa and cinema at the hotel which guests could use free of charge. Absolutely fantastic food was served in the evenings in cozy premises. The hotel is recommended Morgan and Maria
The Hotel is perfect in everything! Service, housekeeping, rooms, ambiance, welness, food, all 5 stars! One of the best places to be in Gerlos.
