Hotel Edelweiss

This local boutique hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the restaurant is one of the best hidden gems in town! The food and service were amazing, and the cozy ambiance made it the perfect place to unwind after a long day. We loved their Kaiserschmarrn (with cinnamon plum jam) and Cordon bleu.. so good we had to come back for dinner a second time! Huge thanks to Andras and Dorina for making our nights extra special. If you're looking for great food, great ambiance, and great service, this place is a must!

Unfortunately this time no suites available but nice to stay in one of the recently refurbished standard rooms. Warm and comfortable and the usual high standards of dining in the restaurant! The only thing that was missing was, that as returning and very loyal guests of the hotel, none of the reception staff seemed aware that we were returning to the hotel for probably our tenth time!

We spent 8 nights at Edelweiss Hotel for a ski vacation. The hotel is high-quality, modern, new and clean, with a beautiful pool and sauna facilities, and great breakfast. It is right next to the ski lifts and the bus station, so good access to all pistes. It was our first time in Austria and we were surprised that (1) there is a surcharge of €20 if you want to order room service and (2) the cleaning services were the bare minimum (sometimes towels were not changed, the trash was not taken out and the floor was not even cleaned/vacuumed). Aside from this, we were very happy with this hotel. We want to highlight the restaurant, which was in our opinion the best in Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Very beautiful, quick service and good food. The staff was amazing, especially Dorina, Erwin and Andreas at the restaurant, who we want to thank for making our stay special.
