Hotel Edison

Great location in Midtown, just off Time Square. Our family room was very comfortable and well decorated. It came with two areas, both with a television. One had a large double bed and the other had two large double beds. Plenty of room for two adults and two teenagers. It also has a microwave, personal mini fridge, safe and plenty of wardrobe and storage space. The bathroom was also very good. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The rest of the hotel was also very well decorated and maintained in an Art Deco style. The bar and restaurant were great, along with all of the staff, who were all extremely helpful and friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you're travelling to New York, this Hotel should definitely be considered by you. A very big thank you to all the staff!

This is a fantastic hotel and by NYC standards very reasonably priced. The hotel is spectacularly clean and the atmosphere is always buzzing. Helpful staff everywhere and perfectly adequate rooms, considering this is prime NYC location we didn’t expect a huge room! The staff on reception unexpectedly gave us breakfast vouchers. Food in NYC can be very pricey so this was so helpful. These could be used at Bond 45 which is within the Edison and that breakfast was fine. But even better, we could use the vouchers at CARVE which is just round the corner. Huge portions and set us up for the day! The hotel is in the perfect location, right in the action of Time Square. We’d never stay anywhere else. Thank you!!

Unbelievably good location right next to times square and can avoid the carnage by taking a 1 avenue detour. Rooms are dated and after being cleaned they always smelled musty/sweaty and the bathroom constantly smelled of urine. Beds were comfortable and the air con was very cool but also quite loud. The breakfast vouchers for Carve down the road were a good option. If you got a clean room it's a decent hotel but I can only judge off my own experience.
