Hotel Ehrlich Prague

At this hotel, which is located in the Žižkov area just a few tram stops from Prague’s main train station, I had a wonderful stay. The service was excellent from the start — the reception staff were always friendly, helpful, and happy to recommend interesting sights around the city. There’s even a small bar and shop at the reception where you can buy soft drinks at good prices, which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was really tasty each morning. I’ve had similar quality in Vienna, but I actually preferred the cozy and relaxed atmosphere in the dining room here — it felt warm and inviting. The parking lot was fairly spacious, but I didn’t reserve a spot in advance. Thankfully, the receptionist kindly recommended a nearby place to park that was more affordable than the hotel’s own option. That kind of helpfulness really stood out. What truly made the stay special was how the staff genuinely cared and tried to understand your needs. That level of hospitality isn’t something I’ve experienced in every hotel, and it left a really positive impression on me.

The room we've been in looks fine at first glance. I've requested two separate beds since I was traveling with a friend. The beds are very narrow and I almost fell off of one. The light by the bed has an interesting wiring since we had to turn on and off a couple of switches in order to work. The floor behind the table and underneath the curtains hasn't been hovered for a while. However, the staff are nice, the cleaners change the toiletries regularly and the location is decent (nearby public transport). I'd recommend a stay here if you can get the over those minor gripes.
