Hotel Eitljörg

This is a gem of a hotel. Far from the city, it is about 1km to the U1 to Stephanplatz which is about 15 minutes. The good news is the walk is through a lovely park. The rooms are large, great shower, comfortable bed, meticulously maintained. I stayed here to tour the cemetery, which is incredible. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The great part though is the restaurant. Large selection of typical Austrian dishes very well prepared. The breakfast is also very nice. This hotel is half the price of hotels in Vienna that are frankly not as nice. As someone who comes to Vienna often, being outside the city is a secret love of mine. I will absolutely return.

Confortable and cosy, room and bathroom are clean. I've spent only two days in Wien. My advise: the restaurant is super, both for breakfast and dinner, excellent meals!

The hotel is a disappointment! I sent a letter with a complaint about the dirt in the room and a demand for a refund, because the room was simply uninhabitable, no response. They lie to the booking staff that there were no complaints from me. No response to my direct complaints either. They answer the phone calls, but when I asked for the manager, they said that he was not there, and then that he would come to work next week. When I called the third and fourth times, the employee at the reception no longer understands English, no one at the hotel understands English. It's very sad, but I believe that the inspection from the sanitary station of Vienna speaks German. I sincerely believe that this neglected hotel will suffer the appropriate punishment!
