Hotel El Convent de Begur

It was great, the staff were nice and it is in a good location near a nice beach. In addition there is a great pizza restaurant called Mama Pizza at the beach near their hotel.

We had a spectacular stay at Hotel El Convent! It's situated down the hill from the center of Begur, and just a short walk to the Sa Riera beach. The staff is super friendly and attentive and provided excellent recommendations in the area--thanks Galla! The facilities are clean, spacious, and relaxing. The hotel is connected to other parts of Begur by well marked paths which make for nice walks through nature during the day.

We stayed here at the end of September and it was lovely. The room was extremely spacious and super clean, but being on the ground floor you could hear people outside of your room. The layout has two separate rooms behind one door, so if your neighbour is up early you are going to hear everything. The front desk staff were very friendly for the most part, the woman working the late shift was not as approachable. There is also a pretty big language barrier with some of the staff (some spoke zero English) but they still went above and beyond to try and communicate with us which was very appreciated. The facility was lovely, very close to a small beach town (10 min walk) or a quick drive into Begur. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
