Hotel El Convento Leon Nicaragua

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and full of charm. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a peaceful courtyard that felt like a little oasis. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with fresh options that gave us a great start to the day. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay, always ready with a smile or a recommendation. Our room was cool and comfortable, with strong air conditioning that was much appreciated after a day out exploring. The bed was incredibly cozy, and we slept soundly every night. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, which can sometimes be hit or miss in other places. The location could not be better. It is just a short walk to a grocery store, great restaurants, and the main center of town. It made getting around so easy and stress free. Overall, this hotel really made our trip extra special, and I would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation, clean and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful x 100 gardens. 3 min walk to the cathedral. Provided very safe car to the airport as well as free entry tickets to the Art Gallery a must see place to visit

Terrible experience — avoid Booked 2 nights via Booking.com for $166. Upon arrival, hotel demanded nearly double the price, claiming the booking was for one person only — despite no clear mention online, and no reason as the room could accomodate more than 2 pers. Cold, unwelcoming staff. No flexibility, no hospitality. Completely overpriced for what you can get for the same price elsewhere. Would not recommend.
