Hotel El Paraiso

Beautiful place surrounded by green areas. We booked 3 rooms and they were great (the bed and pillows were comfortable, they were clean, there was no smell, no bugs, the shower was great). A really nice surprise! The food at the restaurant was just ok. But, the location of the restaurant, the entrance through "a cave" and the view are well worth the visit and the spend. Will definitely be back!

You might think that the hotel's name overstates things, but this is really a great hotel in a stunning location. The staff is very kind and helpful and the restaurant is great (if you stay at the hotel, ask for a voucher if you want to charge meals to the room). The rooms are pretty simple, but very comfortable. Highly recommended if you want to find a fabulous and (so far) undiscovered part of Mexico

We booked a pet-friendly room for the weekend, 2 adults, 1 child, and the dog. The room was priced at USD $175 per night; and what a disappointment! Everything was either broken or in very poor conditions, I cannot conceive that a pet friendly room has full carpet, clearly stained and dirty. It seems that has not been washed for a long time. For that price, you can find a much nicer room at Fiesta Americana San Antonio El Puente (just to mention a similar price room). Even they collect an additional daily fee for bringing your pet in, you will not find pet service stations (bags, towel napkins, and trash can), and neither you will find water dishes at any place. It would be better to remove the Pet Friendly tag on the property and provide a standard service.
