Hotel Elba

My stay at Hotel Elba in Durrës was absolutely flawless. From the moment we arrived, the front‑desk team (available 24/7) greeted us with warmth and efficiency . The room was spotless, tastefully decorated, air‑conditioned, with a comfy bed and a private bathroom—exactly what you need after a long day . Waking up to a view of the Adriatic Sea from our balcony—and having direct access to a clean sandy private beach—was simply dreamy . The on‑site restaurant served fresh Albanian and European dishes, and the presence of a bar, garden, and children’s playground made it family-friendly too . Parking was hassle-free thanks to free on-site parking, and reliable Wi‑Fi and laundry services added to the comfort . In short, everything at Hotel Elba—from the facilities to the service—was perfect. Highly recommended for a stress‑free, beachside getaway!

Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff was truly disappointing. Their attitude was cold, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Instead of welcoming guests with respect, they acted like they didn’t care at all. On top of that, they have a shocking policy: if you lose the chip for the lift, they charge you 50 euros. This is outrageous and feels like taking advantage of guests. I really hope the management takes this seriously, because no one deserves to be treated like this

Fridge was rotten air con wasn’t working and the price €240 a night. Thank goodness walked down the road and found amazing place for half the price and stunning hotel.
