Had a wonderful stay at La Casa! We stayed in room number 4, which was beautiful ✨️ Breakfast was excellent, staff are brilliant and it is a couple of minutes walk into the centre of the village. Harìa is lovely but not much going on - the hotel is a great place to stay as a base to explore the North of the Island.
Had a wonderful stay with my partner in one of the beautifully restored rooms. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there was an incredible freestanding bathtub. All rooms have air con. The hotel is a real labour of love by Jose Antonio, the owner, who restored the old house into a hotel a few years ago. When we arrived he welcomed us and talked enthusiastically about the places we could visit around Haria, including walking routes (we didn't have a car) and personal recommendations. Breakfast was excellent - I liked the bacon and cheese sandwich so much I ordered it every day, and they provided gluten free versions of everything for my wife. We spent a lot of time on the hotel's sunny terrace, with views of the surrounding mountains. It's a small independent hotel and not a resort so don't expect to spend your visit lounging around a pool being waited on hand and foot (they don't have a pool yet, but it's under construction).
I reserved breakfast at Hotel Emblemático Casa de las Naranjas, but the experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, no one greeted me, and I was directed to a dirty table instead of the clean, prepared ones offered to others. When I asked about missing items on my table, the waiter rudely said, “This is for guests,” despite me being a paying customer. The lack of professionalism and courtesy left a poor impression. I expected better treatment and hope the management improves their service. Wanted to book a room, but will not come back to this horrible place.
