Hotel Emion Kyoto

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Emion Kyoto! The rooms were spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. One of the standout features is the variety of restaurants located on the main floors, offering something for every taste right within the hotel. Although we didn’t get the chance to try the spa ourselves, we heard great things about it. The hotel even provides robes specifically for spa use, which is a nice touch for guests who want to unwind in comfort. We also appreciated the generous perks — each guest received a ¥1,000 voucher to use at the hotel’s restaurants, as well as a free drink coupon. These little extras made the experience feel even more welcoming. Overall, we highly recommend Hotel Emion Kyoto to anyone visiting the city. It’s a comfortable, convenient, and well-run place to stay.

Recommend this hotel for sure! Our family of three (2 adults +1 teen) stayed at the Hotel Emion in June 2025. We loved it!!! Clean, quite, super comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The on-site public bath was amazing, especially after long, sweaty days of touring. Took advantage of the rooftop sunsets and the sushi restaurant (where we used our hotel discount). Loved the convenience to JR line transportation but felt nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy parts of Kyoto. When we return to Kyoto, we will definitely stay here again.

Just spent the last 4 days at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and booked 2 rooms. I can say enough good things about this hotel. Location is perfect, close enough to Kyoto station but just far enough away from the chaos. The rooms are large by Japanese standards, beds are comfortable and the amenities are first class. Onsen on the 3rd floor was my go to place every night before bed. I haven’t slept this comfortably in years!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. Look forward to visiting again in the future.
