Hotel Emona Aquaeductus

The rooms are pretty basic yet well equipped overall. The AC works great - in August in Rome it’s the most important amenity and I was highly satisfied with it. As mentioned in other reviews, noise insulation could be improved, but I did not have any troubles sleeping, so it definitely wasn’t as dramatic as portrayed in some reviews I read. Finally, the real value and reason for 5 stars is the phenomenal personnel: kind, always ready to help, and fun! Highly recommended. If you’re a very light sleeper, consider taking some earplugs with you just in case.

Our 10 day stay at Hotel Emona Aquaeductus was absolutely fantastic. Three adults can sleep very comfortably in one room. The front desk staff were always friendly and accommodating and Max was super nice, always recommending the best places to eat and showing us how to get around the city. The hotel was not far from major sights by transit, but if you really like getting your steps in, this hotel is perfectly locate for that. Lots of premium shops within walking distance from your front door as well as 24 hour cafes and late night restaurants. Rooms are air conditions and the cleaning staff are top notch. Their court yard is so welcoming and you really feel at home as soon as you enter. All around one of our best experiences we had and would definitely without hesitation rebook another stay. Can't say enough great things about this hotel and staff. Thank you to Max and to the entire staff.

My husband and I spent two nights here. The room was lovely and cool (in hot June!). Max greeted us at the desk with great warmth and plenty of guidance. We wore out our feet exploring so many of the amazing sites (Colloseum, Pantheon, etc...) and then slept deeply in a comfy bed. The only thing some folks may want to take into consideration is that, while there was no street noise, we did hear many other guests in the hallways, particularly in the morning. As New Yorkers, we weren't bothered at all. I do wish we had time to enjoy coffee or cocktails in the garden, but our visit was too short, and we were determined to see Rome!
