Hotel Emperador

Aurora at front desk was outstanding. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great recommendations, I told her we came to celebrate my 60th birthday and the next thing you know she had a bottle of champagne delivered to our room. Rooms were clean, but on the older side. Wish there was not carpet. Location was excellent. Overall great stay.

Booked as a 3nt stay with a friend. We’d requested a twin room, we got a lovely room on the 9th floor. Rooms are very spacious & clean with great decor. There is a hair dryer, coffee machine & fridge in room. The hair dryer is powerful but has a very tight cord so you need a bit of arm strength to pull it up high enough to dry your hair 😂 Beds were comfy with good pillows. Wardrobe is spacious with plenty of hangers. Our room was directly under the pool area & I could hear a bit of noise as (I assume) they move pool furniture each night. Otherwise very quiet. Pool - great pool, more loungers than I original thought.

The location of the hotel is amazing; it is very central, so you can go to many tourist attractions within minutes. The service is amazing, the staff is really nice and friendly. The breakfast was also really good with many options to eat. The pool is also nice, but the pool bar service is really slow; you have to wait more than 20 minutes until your order comes. The bedroom is unfortunately quite small, and the soundproofing is really bad, but fortunately the room is comfortable. The one negative thing is that the interiors of the building/room are already aged; I think they can refurbish/renovate it. Otherwise, I can really recommend it if you need a hotel in Madrid.
