We spent a night here prior to visiting the Dali Museum and it was the perfect place. We had dinner at their "Wine Bar" which turned out to be an excellent dinner with a very nice menu. Really one of our best meals in Spain! Excellent chef. Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean.

Booked the hotel for a night. The check-in was smooth. Room was clean and spacious. The view from the balcony in the morning was nice and even though the room was facing the main street, it wasn’t particularly noisy. Initially we were a bit skeptic of not having a buffet system for the breakfast rather having to choose 3 options for breakfast from a list. But this turned out to be great. The dishes were nicely prepared and delicious and more than sufficient for breakfast.

The arrival, was the most welcoming I have ever received at any hotel. The receptionist was so helpful and attentive We had three small Yorkshire terriers who had behaved very well, and enjoyed the company of other patrons, but we're very quiet especially at the restaurant During our arrival we discussed the option of reserving a table in the far corner of the restaurant so as not to impede other guests and the reservation was confirmed with the receptionist, the lady managing the restaurant However when we arrived the table we reserved had been given to an elderly couple. I enquired the table wasn't available and young waiter became agitated and told us we had to go elsewhere as we had dogs, I stated that we had reserved and to come with me to see the receptionist The young waiter became very rude and tried to escort my wife away from the reserved table. At this point I went to seek assistance from the receptionist who had clearly heard the young waiter and she was clearly embarrassed by the young waiters attitude and rude manner. Then completely out of the blue the elderly gent who had taken our table became aggressive to me. Both i and the receptionist were left speechless. Needless to say I put this person in his place and informed him if he continued he would be very upset with the end result he was walking into I then selected another table and continued with enjoying the food and ambience with the fellow dinners I did during the evening pat the old boy on his arm and advised that in future he should keep his nose out of other peoples business or he could suffer from his incursions The owner is aware of this incident and I discussed the waiters attitude with him I would like to advise all, that the hotel is a good place and the food and beverages are of exceptional quality and flavour. Be sure to have the breakfast as it is special. The rooms were clean but tired to look at, the bath towels were of the best quality , unfortunately the bath was a jacuzzi type, and spilt out dirt, even though we didn't select this option. The bed and linen plus pillows were so good and comfortable Recommendation, yes book a stay for the food and ambience alone. However, should you be approached by a young waiter ...just deck him and get on with enjoying your stay. The other staff are excellent in manner and service.
