Love it. Small town attention to the guests, but with a touch of subtle elegance. The hosts were great, the room comfortable, with everything we needed, and the breakfast was the best hotel breakfast (included in the price of the room) I've ever eaten.
Great experience at Hotel Engbert. Was there for a business trip and it met my needs very well. Loved the breakfast; probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Room was exceptionally clean and well kept. The entire hotel was this way, clean and well kept.
I have no personal experience, unfortunately I had to deal with a situation around breakfast, where my co-workers were offered breakfast during check-in, but they were not informed that the hotel would charge extra for it. They were not notified during checkout either, the first communication from the hotel about the unpaid bill for breakfast took place 4 months after check-in. From my point of view this is unfair, because if the hotel offers extra services, the customer should know that it is not included in the price.
