Hotel Engel is a wonderful hotel with a very accommodating staff. The rooms are very clean and the beds are a dream! The breakfast buffet is outstanding. The restaurant, Mad Angel, has some incredible dishes. The food was some of the best we had during our stay. We have already planned to come back and explore more of the region and make Hotel Engel our base camp.
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now when on business and it is one of my favorite hotels in the world. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice and it is close to everything you need in Liestal! The train and bus are a short walk and you can also walk to many restaurants. Thank you to the wonderful staff there for always making us feel like we're at home when we stay at the Engel!
Kind and friendly staff, and so helpful. The room was comfortable and exactly what we needed. And the breakfast was just super.
