Hotel Enzian

Perfectly located, it could not be more “ski in, ski out”. Great breakfast buffet and varying dinner menu in the evening. Special mention for the guys that served our table, Magdalene and Nelson. The owners and their team were very open and friendly.

A beautifully run and great value, traditional hotel where I felt truly welcome and at home. My room was faultless, very comfortable with fine linen, luxury toiletries and servicing twice daily. Half-board is phenomenal value and both the fine-dining dinner and breakfast were delicious and varied. There are numerous small touches which make staying here such a joy. Here are those which I noticed: - the personal, courteous, attentive and well trained staff (I felt that the staff truly enjoyed working here and returned for multiple seasons). - The solid silver cutlery and coffee pots, bespoke dinner crockery and high quality glassware - attention to small details such as how the glassware is perfectly positioned at your table with the etched logo facing you, - the ski/boot room is spacious, tidy & with heated boot racks

Right before Easter 2023 we experienced the most wonderful time at Hotel Enzian. At family Elsensohn hotel “The Enzian” you experience the genuine feeling that you are expected to feel at every hotel. The true hospitality from the family Elsensohn and their staff is fully felt and it settles right in your heart. The sensation which you experience is as if you were at home. You feel a cosy and homely sensation, but at the same time you as guests are cared for in a very professional and enjoyable way. Marion, who is the daughter of Herr and Frau Elsensohn is a warm hearted absolute lovably person who always does her most together with her husband Denny to make sure that the family’s guests are enjoying their stay full out. Wherever you go within the hotel’s facility’s you are furthermore greeted by generous staff who always look you in the eyes. Immediately upon check in which is handled by the amazing receptionist Chantal you feel Hotel Enzians genuine hospitality. The true warmth and the positive service mindness can be felt from the family Elsensohn and their beloved staff. The family way of treating their guests with genuine generosity has gone straight into the family’s heart. The kindness has been reflected into family Elsensohn’s employees who have also become a part of the Elsensohn family. Every morning at the breakfast you are meet by the friendly and dedicated Frau Elsensohn, who is up every morning to help her employees to make sure that the breakfast is complete and that nothing is missing her beloved guests. The breakfast includes everything that you as a guest wish for such as newly baked bread/buns, homemade delicious pastries/cakes and fresh fruits as well as a large assortment of cheeses, charcuterie and marmalade. As if the guest friendliness at hotel Enzian could not become better Frau Elsensohn and her employees immediately as you have been settled at your table ask for your coffee/tea/chocolate order. Moreover you have the opportunity to order eggs/omelette/pancakes in any way that you as a guest wish. When you have been skiing a whole day you long after coming back up to the room and cuddle up in the soft, cozy and comfortable bathrobe, which you are fully able to enjoy at hotel Enzian. The spa section is small and cosy, but still has everything that you as a guest can wish for and you will love the sensation of relaxation and harmony which you feel as soon as you enter the spa. The rooms are cleaned with such care and the housekeeping staff have a great dedication to their work as well as they leave nothing for granted. Every evening the housekeeping staff pass by the rooms to prepare the beds for bedtime as well as do a quick clean of the room. The friendly and generous housekeeping staff additionally leave a small chocolate cookie for each person which is truly appreciated the next day in the ski slopes. Either you choose to be a half board quest or you choose to dine in the little in house Austrian “A la carte” restaurant, which has the true traditional Austrian feeling. Whichever you as a guest choose you will experience the most high standard Austrian kitchen. We are especially fond of the traditional Winerschnitzel which is the most tasteful and delicious Winerschnitzel you can ever wish for. The Enzian family also have a variety of Fondue evenings which are magnificent with the most wonderful traditional Austrian feeling. We truly love the experience that we had at the family Elsensohn hotel “The Enzian” and we recommend the hotel to anyone, who wishes for a relaxing and harmonious holiday in the winter paradise of Zürs and the Arlberg region.
