Hotel Escola Bela Vista

I stayed at this hotel during a two-weeks visit to Volta Redonda. It was such a wonderful stay. The staff at the reception desk and at the restaurant are super-friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a hill which means it is wonderfully quiet at night; no noises from the street. The style of the hotel is also very nice and unique; just check out the photos and you will understand what I mean. The room I stayed in was very modern, clean, welcoming, comfortable, functional. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast buffet every morning which really leaves nothing to wish for. One can sit outside our inside to eat; I always sat outside. Dinners at the restaurant were also very nice with wonderful staff who always tried to teach me some Portuguese (Obrigado). :-) Last but not least, there is a hotel pool which is great to enjoy on hot days and was never crowded when I swam. Oh, and the hotel also has a gym with weights and machines! All in all, 100% recommended if you come to Volta Redonda for business or for pleasure. I certainly hope to return on my next visit.

The Bela Vista is a nice, if slightly dated hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating for those who do not speak Portuguese. The rooms are spacious and have decent air conditioning. I stayed here twice in two different rooms-one a newer, updated room and an older suite with an updated bathroom. The hotel is pretty quiet and away from city noise but is a fairly long walk if you want to go to a restaurant or the grocery store in downtown Volta Redonda. I would stay here again.

This hotel is very good to stay in Volta Redonda. The location in the perefery from the city is perfect and relaxed. The rooms are recently renovated and of high standards. The food in the restaurant is of high quality. Every staf member from the housekeepers to the restaurant and back are very very kind and helpfull. One little thi g to complain. Dispite the renovatio the toilets nearby the restaurant are visibly 80 years old.
