Hotel Estelar La Fontana

A very classic, comfortable and beautiful hotel. Great location. Every time I’m in Bogota, this is my first option to stay. Breakfast is delicious and a variety of food is offered. Also great for companies that want to do events. I have organized an event with my company and everything was all right. Recommend

If you are looking for a safe and welcoming place to stay in Bogotá look no further. Stay here the service is over the top amazing. They have there own taxi service that will take you anywhere. Martin was our driver and he was so helpful in enjoying the city safely.

Have stayed there four times since 2022. Most recently in April 2025. Can't remember if I left a review at that time. On each occasion was arriving in the early hours, eg, 4am, as coming from the UK staying just over one week. Each time emailed the hotel to let them know that was actually coming and was not a no show! No problem with this. Reception staff are very professional and helpful and actually remembered us. (Hope in a good way, lol.) Each of the stays was exceptional. Lovely rooms, staff and enjoyed the hotel with its village atmosphere. The Tonnarello restaurant was used every day for it's lovely breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Also nice to have dinner there. The Plaza Cafe on site was also used a lot. Room was serviced every day. A clean and well managed hotel. Staff all wear smart uniforms. And Unicentro is across the road with its shops, banks, restaurants and cafes. Usaquen seems like a safe area, subject to the usual precautions. And there is security on the hotel vehicle entry. Drivers have to say who they are there to see. Only thing I would say is that the ATM in the hotel seemed to charge high commission on the debit card I used. All in all, a great stay in a lovely hotel.
