Overall great rooms, great food, beautiful garden, always cleaning and improving , nice pools and beach. We were hoping to walk on the beach at night ( it’s roped off ) but understand the safety concerns. The staff is very helpful and friendly. English is rare but that’s what I wanted / expected. I recommend studying up on Spanish for the best communication. I love the culture! Great drinks at the bar. Never a hesitation and willing to pour a great beverage . We wanted to pay for bottle of wine and the staff made it happen with no issues! The hotel has fantastic evening shows and tries to keep the entrainment going. We had so much fun. We got to see local dancing styles and hear live music. We traveled to the city a couple of times and was fast and seem less. The shops and restaurants close are handy if you are just trying to get out of the resort for a minute. We loved every second. Great vacation!!!!
Hello. I’m visiting from Texas. The staff at the facility provided outstanding customer service from day one. The front desk representative were super friendly and helpful. The food was great especially at the respective restaurants within the facility. The WiFi worked 100% of the time. The spa, Sauna, Turkish bath and massage etc. were wonderful. I used them all. Overall I give them 5 stars for outstanding customer service.
The hotel was quite nice and exceeded our expectations in some ways and let us down in others. The rooms were nice most of the time but were outdated and came with the usual host of issues you find in hotels most times. The service was good, and if you know Spanish you'll be fine, but if you're an anglophone you'd struggle quite a bit. The food was so/so with it being edible at some times and fairly good others, nothing ever exceptionally good or bad. You won't go hungry. The location is stunning and conveniently located 27 ish minutes away from old Cartegena and about 22 minutes from the airport, which is covenient when you want to visit the city a lot. I know people complain about the animals but the 4 dogs, and 3 cats on the resort were all well behaved and friendly, would come and sit with you without problem and be a companion. Overall a positive experience.
