It’s a perfect place to visit with family — very peaceful, clean, and safe. The staff is polite and friendly, the food is plentiful and delicious, and the entire property is filled with trees and birds. At night, the hotel is beautifully lit in a unique way that my kids really enjoyed exploring. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a place to connect with nature.
Amazing service by Fatima she was so attentive and sweet to us, she made sure we were satisfied with our food at all times. Even when we expressed our dislike of the chorizo argentino she was nice enough about it. Thank you to all staff for the amazing job you guys do!
When we checked in, we were given an upgrade that was right on the beach facing the ocean. That was amazing. The hotel has cool paths and hidden nooks that were fun to explore. You could choose a different pool to lay by in a hammock, we took a boat tour of the river behind the hotel, and that was pretty cool. This place is isolated and surrounded by plenty of poverty. I’m not bothered by that as it’s part of the culture, but there is nothing to do around there so if you are good with just checking out, this place is great. We asked a couple times if there was anything to do and there was not. Online it shows kayaking and fishing which we were looking forward to, but that is no longer available. I did book a massage and when I arrived, the therapist did not come in. That was disappointing. Be prepared for mass amounts of dogs. There are multiple strays and they will bake to be fed. We made a game of coming up with dialogue between the animals. The dogs were pretty tame. The rules were frustrating as far as bringing any food or drink into the hotel. They want you to buy everything from them. They made us put our flat of water in our car. I felt like we were under supervision most of the time. We arrived on Thursday night and it was really quiet. I read about karaoke but saw none. Friday night was a little more active and they had a fire on the beach, which was nice. Still no karaoke. They have a couple restaurants there, but only one was open the whole time we were there. Overall, the location makes up for any complaints. I couldn’t have asked for a better spot.
