Hotel Europa Monetti

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Europa Monetti. The location is fantastic, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and the staff were always friendly and professional. However, there were a few things that could be improved. The fridge in the room was extremely small – it could barely fit four cans of soda, which is not very practical for longer stays in the summer heat. Also, while I understand that certain services come with an extra charge, I found it disappointing that even for hotel guests, parking had to be paid separately at €18 per day. It made me feel like if someone visits me at home, I wouldn’t think of charging them to park in front of my house – it seems a bit excessive for a hotel of this category. Similarly, access to the sauna and spa facilities comes at an additional cost, unlike other hotels we stayed at (for example in Budapest) where such amenities were included in the room price. Overall, it was a good experience, but for the price, I believe there is definitely room for improvement and more value could be offered.

Despite our airline losing our luggage for the first 4 days of our holiday we had a great stay at Europa Monetti and would happily recommend this family friendly hotel to our friends. All the staff are lovely, the location is great as is the beach. The choice at breakfast is acceptable and the coffee (even from a machine) is good. The location is excellent with a large choice of good restaurants very close. Lots of nice chill out areas with a good bar and nice reasonably priced drinks in the hotel. Also a mini library on each floor which is a nice touch. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, from Alberto Monetti down to the cleaning staff. The pool, whilst small is nice and has the added bonus of a bar and decent music. I suspect we will come back at some point or perhaps another of the hotels small chain. A lovely hotel with lovely people. One slight annoyance was a smell of drains directly outside the hotel but suspect this is down to some local building work and our air-conditioning wasn't the best but easily fixed. Would highly recommend a family stay here no problem.

A great hotel, fabulous service in a great locations. Rooms clean, tidy and spacious. Ideally set up for cyclists based in a great location for exploring. Food was excellent (stayed full board) and prices good (including bar prices). Got a spa and gym. Nice pool outside. Small terrace at the front of the hotel. Close proximity to the beach. Parking out the back.
