The staff was very nice, the breakfast was decent, the room was big and the balcony as well. The bed was comfortable. The hotel is great for a budget stay not far from Florence. Parking right in front makes it so easy. Pretty clean as well. It needs indeed some decoration improvement to bring it back to life but I would say this is not bad overall. What it definitely needs is a fixing of some items that don’t work well, like a leaking toilet that is for sure costly over time. All in all it’s a very decent hotel for an overnight stay.

Firstly, the location of the hotel seems to be on another planet. It is almost an hour's drive from the main Florence city. But that not a major problem. The main problem is that the rooms are tiny, matchbox-sized. There's hardly any space to move around and there's just one dimly lit lamp to light the entire room which gave a very dull appearance to the room. The property looked very old and also lacks maintenance. While the buttons for lighting and the television belongs to an age old system with no switches or remote control, the sound of water flowing through the drainage pipes was a nightmare! I cannot recall the number of times I woke up hearing the sound of the pipes! The breakfast was still good. They had a plenty of options to choose from, with two types of chicken, and an option for beef and pork as well. The spread mostly consisted of bread, cakes and different types of croissants. It was perhaps the only good thing about the hotel. The elevator was another headache; it was so slow that people could reach earlier using the stairs - not while climbing down but while going up!

While the rooms bathrooms were not bad at all everything else was terrible. Two elevators that took 5 minutes to go up five floors, the rooms smelled like paint, the AC DIDN'T WORK IN THE MIDDLE OF JUNE. The corridors smelled of must, were unpainted and quite frankly looked disgusting. The breakfast was aboslutely terrible, had a lady yelled at a man in a tour group that he couldn't use a (mind you dirty) tray for his breakfast that those were of "exclusive" use for the buffet (the buffet mind you was eggs, milk, sausages apples, and supermarket sweet croissants, And for juice juicebox cranberry juice that was horrible) everthing is terrible avoid at all costs
