A beautiful hotel with its own parking. We used the charging for electric cars in the parking lot, which was super convenient. Our room was spacious, clean, with a great view. View at breakfast was also simply amazing. The reception works 24 hours, which is also very convenient if you have questions or you arrived late at night. A perfect option if you travel by car .
Stayed 6 nights early July. Found the hotel delightfully peaceful right by the lake. Although no bar in the hotel we did have choice of drinks in the evening but walk outside and dozens of good bard on rhe doorstep. Maid service was good and staff pleasant. Reception staff polite and helpful. Only complaint was the restaurant manager was off hand and very rude - spoke no english but expected us to understand his rantings and rude pointing to guests in our party. We photographed our meal choices as he frequently brought the wrong dish and blamed us! However the young guys who waited on tables were polite and friendly. Loved Riva and my stay - thank you.
The room was as expected but nothing special. It was very quiet, you could not hear other guests or any of the quadrillion cars this city is plagued with. The staff was nice espacially the two young men in the restaurant. Like other reviews already pointed out, the old guy is not build for this profession, I don't understand why he is working with tourists if he dislikes them so much. The bike renting service is very nice and the bikes are in really good shape, unfortunately the city and bike paths are insanely crowded. Of course thats not the hotels fault. However the restaurant/breakfast room is way too small and there are too many tables next to each other. This was extremly annoying and I could not enjoy it at all. The coffee machines were broken all the time with long queues and the size of the coffee mugs were stupid as hell. If you were lucky to get a coffee from a working machine, the mug was completely full and you could now navigate through the narrow room with a full mug. Like honestly, having normal sized mugs and a bit of personal space in a 4 star Hotel isnt too much to ask for. Food was good tough but the breakfast situation easily takes away 2 stars
