Hotel Europa

Plenty of space good bed horrible pillows (like paper thin) a/c is limited to 20 centigrade too hot for blanket and no sheets. Bathroom is ample and water pressure is good. Shampoo is second rate. Restaurant is fantastic.

I gave this hotel two stars only because of the wonderful clerk who checked us in and helped us with many different things. The hotel itself was as basic as basic could be, despite the fact that it was pretty. Flat pillows, no air conditioning, no bottled water, no kettle, no way to make coffee or anything else in your room. Because it’s a small town, they offer both breakfast and supper. The breakfast was absolutely terrible, prepackaged baked goods, cold egg/potato tortilla. Our “marinated steaks” for dinner consisted of a fresh pork bacon, about 1/4 inch thick, with less than 2 ounces of edible meat. Terrible hotel. No way we’ll ever be back.

The positives, room looks nice, excellent WiFi, easy to find parking, quiet and in good neighborhood. The negatives, our room smelled bad, like body odor, it probably lacked ventilating, also the bed was as hard as a rock.
