Hotel Europe

I had comfortable and pleasant stay at Hotel Europe. Location is very good, you can reach city centre by feet or by public transport, stops are near. Bed was super comfortable and size was perfect. It was quiet at night. Also there were all amenities you could need as iron, slippers, hygiene things. Staff was friendly and responsive. I did enjoy breakfast, great coffee, all products were fresh and tasty. There was no AC in the room. I stayed in the single room and shower was too small, it was difficult to move inside. As for shower cosmetics (shampoo, conditioner and body wash) I think would be nice to use more neutral fragrances, lavender was too strong for me and I couldn't use it. There were no lights next to the mirror in the bathroom.

This is a diamond of a hotel! Comfortable old world charm. The entire staff is polite, professional, and very engaging. Service at reception and the restaurant were superior. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the eye to the smallest detail! The room was freshly painted and very clean. And the food was delicious! Very romantic, very charming.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and larger than most euro standards. The staff was extremely helpful, they even gave us outlet converters to use when ours broke. The location of the hotel is ideal and quiet. We loved enjoying a cocktail and cappuccino on their restaurant patio. It's only one block from the lake, 6 min walk to the old town, and 10-15 walk to the HB train station. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Zurich!
