A lovely hotel which I would definitely recommend as a base if you are going to experience the whole area around Jaca and the Pyrenees. The hotel and the rooms are neat and clean. There is a good and calm atmosphere and you get a nice view of the mountains. The staff are really sweet and helpful, where we got super recommendations for experiences in the area at the reception. If you are by car and have to drive a lot in and out of the city, then the hotel is very well located with the possibility of free parking next to the hotel and a parking garage, which you have to pay for. It takes just 20 minutes to walk into the center via a nice path along the river overlooking the mountains.
Great hotel for the price. The location is close enough to walk to the Citadel and downtown. The rooms are comfortable. There are two restaurants with good food at good prices. I especially enjoyed the indoor pool.
My first Eurostar hotel stay in Spain end up with disappointment. I booked one night stay after Ordesa national park tracking with half boarding expecting great service. First impression of this hotel was pretty bad because a lot flies buzzing at front desk. Front desk staff was extremely rude and incompetent. She cannot speak English and keep on speaking with Spanish only. Wi-Fi was not working. Front desk staff seems not caring at all about our wifi problem. The room was very hot, and air conditioner was not working. Night manger brought fan instead saying they cannot do anything for air conditioner since their central air conditioner system is turned off and heater is turn on now. can you believe that in the middle of September, Spain??? We could not sleep at all. WE had to open the window all night. Previous other reviews shows this hotel had air conditioner problem for long time and this problem is not fixed yet. Food was mediocre and this hotel was not worth for money at all. BE CAREFULL. YOU WILL BE IN HOT ROOM BAKED IN SPANISH HEAT OF ABOVE 40 DEGREE SUMMER.
