Hotel Excelsior

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Excelsior Dubrovnik. The location is just unbeatable, giving us a stunning, postcard-perfect view of the Adriatic coast. The breakfast and dinner buffets were amazing—so much to choose from and everything was delicious. We especially enjoyed the evening tea and dessert with the live singer; it was such a romantic touch. Honestly, the incredible views, great food, and perfect location made for an unforgettable trip.

Loved our stay at Hotel Excelsior. The staff were incredibly accommodating. We had a large, comfortable room with a beautiful view of the Adriatic and Old Town. Despite being close to the restaurant/bar, could not hear much commotion with the doors closed. There were 5 star amenities at the hotel including a spa, pool, steam room, sauna, and even a sectioned off area to swim in the ocean. Breakfast was included and included a large spread and fresh to order breakfast items. Walking to Old Town was less than 10 minutes and very convenient. Did not realize the E1 race was happening the weekend we were there so we got to also watch all of it right in front of our room! Would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

We stayed at The Excelsior in May 2025. The hotel is situated on a cliff overlooking the town. We had a wonderful experience. Our first two nights we were in a fairly dark but spacious room, recessed into the hill. We were very pleased with the location, service, and water access at floor -2. It is an easy walk into the town of Dubrovnik. The hotel staff took care of the car. The breakfasts were awesome!! Our final night we were upgraded to a room with a view....unbelievable. Get one of these rooms if they are available. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel is 1/2 hour from the airport. This is a very nice hotel. Enjoy!!!!!
