Super clean and the air conditioning worked wonderfully! The room we had was on the top floor and was very quiet, something to look forward to after a long day of sightseeing. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. The front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast for $10€ was definitely worth it. The area of the hotel is nicely situated away from the parts heavily saturated with tourists. Although the rooms are reviewed as being outdated, it really isn't an issue if the time spent in your room is only to sleep, shower and unwind.

The room was lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They speak perfect English as well as other languages. Before we arrived, they offered an extensive list of local restaurants, recommended based on our own criteria. That was a nice touch. It is easily accessible to wheelchair users, more so than many hotels I've stayed in with a separate entrance guiding wheelchair users straight to the lobby. The lift is tiny and the breakfast was quite limited. Other than that, great. And in a fantastic location.

Great location - easy metro. Some good places to eat nearby. The room itself was small but the bed was v comfortable and the place is kept very clean. Bathroom huge, shower so-so. No drink-making facilities in the room and you're charged a euro for hot drinks. This is environmentally good I guess (reduces use of electricity from numerous kettles) but I missed being able to make a drink over a 5 day stay. Breakfast is, basically carbs (no eggs for example) but excellent pastries. We ate elsewhere after the first morning, just for variety. Staff okay, not super-friendly but courteous enough. Would we stay again? I'd probably prefer elsewhere next time but it was plenty good enough for the price.
