Hotel Excelsior Liburnia

Had a great weeks stay here at the end of June. Lovely clean spacious room with plenty of storage space. We stayed half board and found there was plenty of choice of good food. The staff were a friendly and polite. We would stay here again in the future as its also in a great location.

The hotel is overcrowded. I’ve never seen queues like this in restaurant, like 30 people lining up for the meal. The food is mediocre, cheapest cheese and other ingredients. I literally don’t wanna go eating to feed the kids in the overcrowded restaurant. Furniture is old, no bathrobes in the room, in the spa they are scarce. Service is bad, in the restaurant I was treated like a person that wants to steal something, it’s ridiculous. Only 2 elevators, a long long waiting time. Kids room is good BUT it works 10-13.00 and 17.30-20.00, it’s not even a full working day. It’s a total mess. Is it so difficult to make it work during the day? They have an underground garage but we weren’t told about it in advance and didn’t know where to park the car. It’s a pity that people don’t invest in leisure. In my bathroom there weren’t even a shower barrier to prevent water from flowing onto the floor. What a shame!

We spent 1 week at this hotel. The food and the room service was good. Kids loved the miniclub. Unfortunately the restaurant is a scam and they are extremely rude! I’ve ordered a margarita pizza 🍕 it stank, I asked them if it was mozzarella and they lied they also blamed me for ordering a cheese pizza if I’m lactose intolerant. The waiter took it back after 20 minutes arguing then she said I should order something else and never came back just passed us ignoring me. The manager done the same! Customer service zero! 💩
