Hotel Expo Sofia

Value-for-money hotel , we used for resting break on the road. The breakfast was great and included. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Safe parking and free.

Stayed here for around a week for training purposes, for this the place was great. Location wise there is not an awful lot nearby otherwise, the Metro is located 500m away, and there was a place you could eat also across the road. My room on the 7th floor had pretty nice views. At first my bath wouldn't drain after showering, and my fridge didn't work the whole time even after asking reception to fix it.. Sleep quality was pretty good with only the pillows being too firm for my liking, TV and WiFi were great. Breakfast was good and the meals served to us for training were delicious too. Overall a very good stay here..

The hotel has clean and fairly refreshed rooms, but the walls and doors are as thin as paper. At night, I kept hearing strange noises coming from the air conditioning/ventilation, which was quite disturbing. Every step in the hallway and every conversation from the neighboring room were clearly audible, making it very difficult to get a good rest. Breakfast was average, with a limited selection and low-quality products. Overall, if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay, this might not be the best choice.
