Hotel Fahrnberger

We spent two fabulous nights at the Fahrnberger Hotel. It was a very cozy, comfortable, tasty, warm and wonderful place to stay. The hotel is run by a friendly couple who take pride in hospitality, kindness, culinary delights and creating a relaxing atmosphere. There is a wellness spa on site with three different types of saunas. The food (breakfast and dinner) was full of delicious options, local delights and beautiful presentation. The drinks were professionally crafted and really opened up the palate. If you're looking for a gorgeous, local feel pampering mountain getaway, this place is for you. Five stars for everything. Would definitely stay here again. I stayed in perhaps 30 hotels in many countries and this was definitely a memorable stay. Pretty much perfect. Fahrnberger is a lovely family run hotel. Comfy and nice rooms, everything spotless, great restaurant with 5* dinners, modern spa (not large but we found space every evening). Welcoming, helpful service. Great communication prior to arrival. We spent a few days here in January - snowboarding trip. Heated ski room - perfect. Large buffet tasty breakfast before snowboarding. Just a short drive to the slopes. Likely it's better to visit mid-week like we did - less busy time.

The staff were incredibly professional and kind, and the owners were also unbelievably helpful, open, and attentive. The rooms were clean, with comfortable beds, and a wonderful view. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. We loved every moment of our stay.
