Hotel Farnese

Wonderfully friendly service. Incredibly welcoming staff. Beautiful hotel in a gorgeous area. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast buffet was fantastic sat up on the roof terrace. Easy access to sights either on foot or on the metro which is less than a minute down the road.

This place is a dump! We had bidet towels with excrement stains on them. They said they were pet friendly but didn't tell us or allow us to go to breakfast on the terrace with our dog, a small dog we put in in a dog stroller for restaurants. Then offered no solution for the breakfast we already paid for, basically said no dogs allowed. Rooms were dusty and dirty, had a terrible smell. No ice during a heat wave! Avoid this place! And of course, we booked 3 nights, stayed 1 because we arrived late and had no choice, went to a better place but this hotel reimbursed us for nothing!! Not even the breakfast they denied us. Absolute dump and non professional.

Overpriced, shabby hotel. Left earlier. 300/night for a tiny, shabby, smelly single room in a basement, door 10cm next to the coffin sized elevator, in a tiny corridor in the basement. Lukewarm water in a tiny, leaking shower cabin. No duvet, thin wool blanket only. AC is not really functional. Single stained glass aindow facing a wall and a pavement. WiFi is very slow as well. I left early because I could not stand that room and, despite my calm complaints, the hotel would charge me for the second night because they can. they feel they disclosed everything in advance and the fact that I don’t like their service is not really their fault :) Worst hotel I stayed in a long time. Avoid.
