I had an unforgettable experience at Hotel Fattoria Belvedere! The hotel itself is full of charm, surrounded by the breathtaking Tuscan countryside — it feels like stepping into a dream. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a lovely rustic feel that made the whole stay even more special. Just one problem wifi doesn’t connect whenever you want. But what truly made the difference was the warm and attentive service, especially from Tatiana at the reception. She was incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with the warmest smile. Tatiana went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home — offering great local tips, helping with arrangements, and genuinely caring about our comfort. She is truly the heart of the hotel!

The location is fantastic the food is great (though the service for guests is restricted to choices of the day and not a real, full-fledged a La carte menu) and the room furnishing and accessories (super hard mattress and pillows, by the way) are definitely not worth of a 4 star rating. Don't get me wrong, everything is impeccably clean and tidy, but it's just not 4 star material. Great place to stay for one or two nights while traveling, though.

DECIDEDLY NOT A 4 STAR. Maybe 1 or 1 1/2 star. It might have been a 4 star decades ago, but the conditions and service at this place is terrible. 1) We booked 2 rooms, and one room they gave me was already occupied. They offered us a replacement room which was damp and moldy with wet sheets. They said sorry that’s all they had because they were fully booked (a big coach tour of German retirees were staying there). We ended up sharing a room with no compensation. Ended up paying for one room, but with no apologies or remorse from them for their error. 2) The room was old and tired. The bathroom had no amenities besides one tiny cake of soap. Tub had rusty spots. The toilet paper was a scratchy stiff brown roll. The air con doesn’t really work, only blows air (unsure where from). The WiFi does not work, and there is zero cellular coverage when in the room. So any texts or calls need to be made outside. Was suspicious about laying in the bed for fear of bed bugs. Luckily there were none, but I would not have been surprised if there were. 3) Meals were terrible. The dinner was a mix of bizarre preset menu and terrible service. The chicken was an hour late and was pretty much cardboard with white sauce and overcooked limp beans. Showed up as we were walking out in frustration. The breakfast buffet was paltry and limp. AND LASTLY, I suffered from a stomach bug for a day and half afterwards. I cannot think of anyplace else I might have gotten that from except from them. There isn’t much around, so that’s pretty much your only option. MY ADVICE IS TO JUST FIND A DIFFERENT AREA TO STAY AND AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. There’s too many wonderful places in Tuscany to stay, don’t waste your precious holiday on this one.
